Children only have one childhood:

Help make this the best Christmas ever!

 

As the holidays approach, many families eagerly anticipate making Christmas special for their children. However, for families struggling financially, it can be a stressful and daunting time. For some, even basic necessities, such as school uniforms or even a warm bed, are beyond reach.

 

In partnership with SHARE Wokingham, Wokingham Foodbank, and other local charities and groups, we will be running "A Christmas Presence", a community Christmas project for families in our community. 

 

We understand that no one knows what a child wants for Christmas more than their family. So, we’ll be transforming our Elevate centre into a Christmas Grotto, and setting up a ‘shop’ where parents/carers are invited to come and choose exactly what they know their children will love.

 

We need your help to set up our shop and to make this the best Christmas ever!

Many children in our community will wake up on Christmas morning with no present to open.
Your donation could change this.

We know that many of us are feeling the pressure too on our household budgets this winter, but if you can, please consider helping those less fortunate, and making a donation to make this the best Christmas ever.

Schools - How can you help us this Christmas

Could your school help us with any of the following:

 

 

 

 

FUNDRAISE

Raise funds to support our Christmas Campaign by choosing us as your charity for Christmas Jumper Day or have a non uniform day to support with a financial donation per pupil.

 

 

GIFT DONATION

Hold a toy collection of new toys for us to give to local children or purchase toys from our Amazon Wish List.

Here’s what else we’re doing to help this winter:

​

  • We’ll be out and about with our mobile support hub, getting to the places where we know families need our services the most
     

  • We're distributing coats, warm items and energy efficient items to help families keep their household costs down
     

  • We’re working in partnership with SHARE and Wokingham Foodbank to open an affordable Community Supermarket
     

  • We’re continuing to administer the household support fund to households who feel they are struggling with rising costs of living
