Community Coach

Hours: Full Time

Salary: £28k per annum

Based: First Days HQ, Wokingham

Reports to: Family Support Team Leader 

We are looking for an experienced coach to join our team at First Days. Training will be available to hone your coaching skills to our specific client group and full support and supervision will be available. 

This is a new role for First Days. We have found, through our outreach work, that there is a population of families who would benefit from longer term, holistic, coaching support as they navigate the problems that arise as a result of financial crisis or low income.

Toy Library Assistant

Hours: 9 Hours Per week, to reflect Toy Library opening times

Salary: £11.25 per hour

Based: Woodley Toy Library, The Ambleside Centre, Woodley

The First Days Toy Library in Woodley, was formally the Lend & Play Library and has been on the site in Ambleside for many years. At First Days we are very pleased to be taking on the toy library as an important part of the community in Woodley. 

 

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and families and knows their stuff about toys and play. The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own and with volunteers and will be really passionate about the importance of toys and learning through play.

Hours: 6 Hours Per week, Friday and Saturday 9:30-12:30

Salary: £11.25 per hour

Based: First Days HQ, Wokingham

We need someone to host our donations mornings. Your job is to greet donors, help them with their initial sort of donations in our donations area and ensure that only the best quality donations are given. You will work with volunteers to ensure that the donation mornings run smoothly. You will feedback to the Resource Manager and Family Support Team about what has been donated so they can manage our resources in the best way possible. 

 

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent customer service skills and is well organised.
