WE NEED YOUR DONATIONS
UPDATE: We are currently closed for all donations.
We welcome donations of good quality clothes, equipment and toys for children aged between 0-8 years old.
Please remember we are a charity and our resources are limited, please do not donate items that you would not be happy for your children to use or wear. In more recent times we have been given unusable items, which we have to pay to dispose of. If they have been in storage for some time, please check they are still usable, clean and in good condition.
Please do not be offended if there is something we can’t take following health & safety suitability & stock procedure.
We publish a monthly donations list with items we are short on and in much need of. Click here for more information.
First Days receive no financial support from local government and relies solely on our own fundraising and community donations.
We need cash donations to provide families living in poverty with all the things we can’t source for them and to run our service.
These include baby essentials such as nappies, wipes and toiletries, mattresses and bedding sets.
Each referral costs approximately £60 to sort, process and get to families.
We keep our costs as low as possible, but we do need financial support to keep our service going.

Did you know that the risk of SIDS (Sudden infant death Syndrome, sometimes known as cotdeath) in newborns is reduced when a mattress is used for each new baby who sleeps on it, even if they are from the same family.
Of course, mattresses cost money and can easily be something that can be overlooked when a new baby comes along. So, why not sponsor a mattress for a new baby? Last year we gave out over 100 new mattresses for a safe night sleep!
£5 will buy a mattress protector for a new mattress
£10 will buy a new moses basket or crib mattress
£25 will buy a new cot mattress
£45 will buy a new mattress, bedding and protector
Thank you for helping us ensure all the babies we support have the safest sleep possible.
