2020 CHRISTMAS CAMPAIGN

Because we believe that all children should receive something special at Christmas

We know that there will be so many families struggling this Christmas and we need your support to help as many as possible.

Lockdown will make this a bit more of a challenge but there are still several ways that you can help a child / family living in poverty this Christmas:

1

Drop a Christmas present or stocking filler at one of our drop-off  points (until the end of November)

2

From 11th November:

Pick up a Christmas Stocking bag from one of our drop-off points, fill it for a child to open at Christmas and then return it to one of our

drop-off points.

3

Order a Christmas present or stocking filler from our Amazon Wish List

4

Make a financial donation to  to help us reach as many families as possible this Christmas and to enable us to continue to support these families for the other 364 days of the year.

What is the Christmas Stocking Campaign?

This year, with your help, we are creating Christmas stockings that our referrers (Childcare professionals)  can request for families that they support.

Christmas stockings will primarily be made for babies to 11 year olds however we will also be providing  stockings for any older children within these families.

We will deliver all the stockings directly to families with the help of our fabulous volunteers and we will send  any further afield by courier. We will aim to complete all deliveries before Friday 18th December.

How can I get involved?

We would be very grateful for your donation of a Christmas present or a stocking filler.

Please see the Amazon Wish List for ideas of gifts or the list below of items for stocking fillers.

We will also be providing empty Christmas stocking bags, with a list of items we

would ask you to include.  In order to ensure that all children receive equally,

we would kindly ask you not to deviate from this list.

Will First Days also be providing other presents to families?

Yes, our Referrers can make additional requests for Christmas presents for children
and their parents through
our standard referrals process. We will also be holding a toy
event in the Wokingham
area (more information to follow!).
